Last Saturday was not just an opportunity for Ashington & District Male Voice Choir to celebrate their musical talents, but a chance to recognize 'Hidden Heroes'!

In most voluntary organisations, there are 'willing horses' who are prepared to work tirelessly for the good of members. Well, the Choir is no exception.

Colin Prow has and continues to work tirelessly 'behind the scenes' as Secretary of Ashington & District Male Voice Choir. At the Choir's 'Annual Concert' at Holy Sepulchre Church in Ashington, chairman, Gordon Peake made a presentation.

The presentation was made to Colin for all of his work on behalf of the Choir but also his wife, Cora, for the sterling efforts to organize raffles at their key concerts with such a beautiful array of prizes.
