Most of you will have realised that it is the General Election on Thursday!

Well, Ashington & District Male Voice Choir will not be missing their Thursday night rehearsal as they prepare to remember the coal miners who worked so hard in the region. The Choir will be performing at Beamish Museum this Saturday and it is appropriate to remember their hardship to support families and celebrate the 40th anniversary since the Miners Strike through music.

For this week only, the Choir will be changing its rehearsal venue to West Sleekburn Village Hall, Wansbeck Terrace, West Sleekburn, Choppington, NE62 between 7.00 and 9.00pm.

After you have done whatever you need to do politically, there is only one important choice that you need to make to ensure that the 4th July is a memorable day, come along to our rehearsal and see if you would like to join the Choir. You will be made very welcome!
