Ashington & District Male Voice Choir welcome you to the musical video, 'Working Man!'

The Choir performed two concerts in the Pit Hill Chapel at Beamish Museum on Saturday, 6th July 2024.

'Working Man' was the third song in the first concert set of coal mining numbers. George Blanchflower was the soloist. This collection of songs was appropriate  with it being the 40th Anniversary of the Miners' Strike and one week before the Durham Miners' Gala when they will remember the event.
