After the formalities of their Annual General Meeting, it was back to  a busy but productive rehearsal for the guys of Ashington &  District Male Voice Choir.

With their focus now on their Annual Concert at Holy Sepulchre Church in Ashington on Saturday, 18th May at 3.00pm, it was 'all systems go' on preparing the programme.

Favourites, such as 'Gwahoddiad', 'Softly As I Leave You' and 'The Colliers' Requiem' were all worked on in the first half. 

And Neil Morton, musical director and Derek Brett, accompanist were pleased that their new number 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' continued to come along well.

It was also pleasing to see that new basses, John and Norman, took the next step to becoming members. It's great that you are enjoying it!
