Ashington & District Male Voice Choir has been recognizable for many years with their distinctive 'blue blazers'!

Well now the members are just as proud to wear their 'less formal' alternative 'blue polo shirts'.

These guys just love to be singing and getting together on a Thursday evening that they unanimously voted to give up three weeks of their normal summer break. They are taking part in three sessions of 'Learn to Sing' to help build up their understanding of reading music and the basic terminology.

On Thursday evening, 26 members turned up for their Thursday night rehearsal in their new 'blue polo shirts'. They were also singing some favourite numbers from their repertoire as part of their learning evening - 'Calm is the Sea', 'Can't Help Falling in Love', 'Gwahoddiad', 'Morte Criste', 'When I'm Sixty-Four' and 'With A Voice of Singing'.
