The guys from Ashington & District Male Voice were in fine form last night as they put the final touches to a great programme for Sunday.

They will be performing in a 'sell-out' 'Remembering Local Heroes' Concert on Sunday afternoon at St. Bartholomew's Church in Newbiggin-on-the-Sea. The Choir will be joined by local soprano, Susan Robertson.

The Choir will performing some great sets of heritage music about coal mining and Northumbrian folk songs, songs from the Sea and musicals, and even some new material to be premiered!

All proceeds from this event will go to the RNLI and St. Bartholomew's Church.
