Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed 'Yard Seam, Bothal High!' at the 'Remembering Local Heroes' Concert at St. Bartholomew's Church in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on Sunday, 20th October 2024.

This powerful song, which was written by Derek Hobbs and Mike Kirkup for the musical, 'Fell 'Em Doon', was performed by the Choir as part of their opening 'Coal Mining' set.

The quality of the sound was affected by the howling wind outside, which was battering the coastline from Storm Ashley.
