Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed 'Bobby Shafto!' at the 'Remembering Local Heroes' Concert at St. Bartholomew's Church in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on Sunday, 20th October 2024.

This popular Northumbrian song, which was arranged by Edmund Walters for male voices, was performed by the Choir as part of their 'Northeast Folk Music' set.

The quality of the sound was affected by the howling wind outside, which was battering the coastline from Storm Ashley.
