Ashington & District Male Voice Choir would like to thank everyone who came along on Sunday afternoon to support the 'Remembering Local Heroes' Concert at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea!

It might have been a 'windy afternoon' but you all helped to make the afternoon a tremendous success. We were delighted that the RNLI and St. Bartholomew's Church were able to benefit.

Special thanks to our friend, Susan Robertson, for two excellent performances and bringing her family and choir members from Stockton.

We would also like to thank Councillor Fiona Rowley, Chair of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea Town Council, and Ian Lavery MP, featured in the photo with our musical director, Neil Morton, for taking time out to support us.

The Choir will be back singing in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on Friday afternoon at The Maritime Centre - 'Celebrating Over 70 Years of Town Twinning'.
