I COULD HAVE DANCED TO NESSUN DORMA!

Ashington & District Male Voice Choir welcome you to the musical video, 'I Could Have Danced to Nessun Dorma!'.

The Choir performed the 'Remembering Local Heroes' Concert at St. Bartholomew's Church in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on Sunday, 20th October 2024.  The very talented, popular and local soloist, Susan Robertson was the guest supporting artist.

The concert was a 'Charity Dedication' to former member, Alan Thompson R.I.P. and the crews past and present of the RNLI Newbiggin-by-the-Sea Lifeboat. The RNLI and the Church were each presented with cheques to the sum of £500 by the Choir. The RNLI also raised an additional £273 at the concert through a raffle.

The soundtrack is taken from recordings from Susan Robertson's opening set of songs. They include 'I Could Have Danced All Night', 'Love Never Dies', 'Nessun Dorma' and 'Quando Me 'en Vo!'.

The quality of the recording was affected by the weather outside as it was blowing a 'hoolie' - thanks to Storm Ashley.
The video tells the story of the RNLI in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea and Susan Robertson's family connections. The Choir thanks the RNLI and Susan for the background text which was taken from the concert programme.
Ashington & District Male Voice Choir hope you enjoy this latest musical video!
