Ashington & District Male Voice Choir welcome you to the musical video, Dance to the Water of Tyne!'.

The Choir performed the 'Remembering Local Heroes' Concert at St. Bartholomew's Church in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on Sunday, 20th October 2024.

The soundtrack of this video is taken from the Choir's second set of the first half of the concert. The Northumbrian folk songs include 'The Water of Tyne', 'The Keel Row', 'Dance to ye Daddy' and 'Bobby Shafto'.

The video tells the story of the legacy of former choir member, Alan Thompson, R.I.P.

The quality of the sound was affected by the howling wind outside, which was battering the coastline from Storm Ashley.
