Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed 'Calm is the Sea at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea!' at the 'Remembering Local Heroes' Concert at St. Bartholomew's Church in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea on Sunday, 20th October 2024.

This beautiful song, which was written by John Guard, was performed by the Choir as part of their opening set to the second half of the concert.

The quality of the sound was affected by the howling wind outside, which was battering the coastline from Storm Ashley.
