Last night, Ashington & District Male Voice Choir held their Annual General Meeting before their rehearsal!

George Blanchflower, Chairman, reflected on a positive year for the Choir and thanked all members and the music team for all of their support.

The Choir had attracted six new members during the last year, become more active and recognised in the region. Their links with key stakeholders had been strengthened. Through a well-supported programme of concerts and events, the Choir had also helped to raise £5,270.60 towards local charities.

The Constitution of the Choir was also updated to reflect the future direction of the Choir. Certain roles within the Choir were also recognised to strengthen the on-going management.

The future continues to look positive for this local community choir from #ashington as they plan for their 110-Year Anniversary in 2026.
