New members are always made to feel welcome when they first arrive. That is why, Neil Rule in the baritone line recently said 'I turned up to the next practice evening and needless to say I was immediately hooked. I was welcomed from the start and although most choir members are older guys there are a few of us "young-uns” and the craic is always canny!'

Being a member of the Choir can be so much fun, a great and rewarding social experience, developing long-standing friendships. It has also been proven that singing in a choir can have positive health benefits, both mental and physical. The Choir helps to address the issues of social inclusion for male voices and provides a source for camaraderie.
