Yes, it was a busy week in the past for Ashington & District Male Voice Choir!

38 years ago, the Choir was taking part in the Northumbria Police 10th Anniversary Gala Concert at the City Hall in Newcastle upon Tyne on Saturday, 7th April 1987. The famous TV presenter, George House was the compere.

Eight years later on Saturday, 8th April 1985, the Choir was presenting its 'Annual Celebrity Concert' at Ashington High School. Guest artists were Margaret Izatt and Graeme Danby.
