EXCITING FEW DAYS FOR ASHINGTON CHOIR!
Ashington was once famous as being 'the largest coal mining village in the world' and the birthplace for some of this country's most famous sporting personalities!
Now #ashington is famous for Ashington & District Male Voice Choir.
The next few days will be exciting times for this popular community choir. Tonight, the full Choir will be performing their 'Annual Concert' at St. John's Church in North Seaton at 7.00pm. Remember, you can still pay at the door.
On Monday evening at the Choppington Parish Annual Assembly, a small singing group of members will be making their premiere public appearance. The Ashtones has been developed to help the Choir to engage wider with local communities and support recruitment.
The Ashtones will be working with backing tracks, performing some of the Choir's traditional repertoire initially in unison but presenting a broader programme of popular songs, which they think you will enjoy.
If you would like to join Ashington & District Male Voice Choir, Michael and Tom who are new recruits are enjoying it, or even then The Ashtones, check out this link, https://www.ashingtonmalevoicechoir.org.uk/pages/pv.asp....
