PROUD TO BE AT LANDMARK EVENT!
It is 50 Years since the Northumberland Miners' Picnic moved to Ashington!
Ashington & District Male Voice Choir was proud to support this morning's Memorial Service at Woodhorn Museum.
The Colliers' Requiem is always fitting and well received when the Choir perform it.
It was interesting to note when local MP, Ian Lavery gave his address at the end of the Service that he knew 'every song in the Choir's repertoire' when he was offering his praise.
Could this be a potential new member for the future!
