Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed their 'Annual Christmas Concert' at St. Cuthbert's Church in Bedlington on Saturday, 14th December 2024. This video features the Choir singing one of the best loved Christmas songs, 'Good King Wenceslas'. The Choir would like to thank the member of the audience for capturing and sharing the video!

Show Me The Child!

Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed their 'Annual Christmas Concert' at St. Cuthbert's Church in Bedlington on Saturday, 14th December 2024. Derek Hobbs and Mike Kirkup from Southeast Northumberland were famous for composing and writing many songs about coal mining. Another beautiful and inspiring song, which they also composed was 'Show Me the Child'. The Choir regularly performs this brilliant number at this time of year. Ashington & District Male Voice Choir thank the member of the audience for capturing and sharing this video clip. The Bach Recital!

Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed their 'Annual Christmas Concert' at St. Cuthbert's Church in Bedlington on Saturday, 14th December 2024. In the first half of the concert, Arthur Thompson, 'The Flat Cap Cellist', gave a performance of 'J S Bach Cello Suites'. The Choir thanks the member of the audience for capturing and sharing this video!

Intro to 'See Amid the Winter's Snow!

Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed their 'Annual Christmas Concert' at St. Cuthbert's Church in Morpeth on Saturday, 14th December 2024. It is not often that we get to share the talents of our accompanist, Derek Brett, who is a great asset to the Choir. The video, which was captured and shared by a member of the audience, features Derek playing the beautiful Introduction to 'See Amid the Winter's Snow'!
