08.05.2025 - Choppington National Big Sing

Ashington & District Male Voice Choir performed at Stakeford & Bomarsund Sports and Welfare Centre on Thursday, 8th May 2025 after their Thursday night rehearsal.

The Choir sang some songs from World War I and II and then sang 'I Vow To Thee My Country', followed by the 'National Anthem' to coincide with the National Big Sing. The event was recoded on the National Event Map for VE Celebrations.

Ashington & District Male Voice Choir took part in the National Big Sing for VE Day on Thursday, 8th May 2025. Thanks to Choppington Parish Council, the Choir performed some World War I and II songs for the local community after their rehearsal. This was followed by the singing of 'I Vow To Thee My Country' and the 'National Anthem'. We thank a member of the community for capturing this moment and hope that you enjoy this video!
