Ashington & District Male Voice Choir was delighted to receive a grant of £2,000 from Ashington Town Council for the financial year, 2024-25.

A cheque was formally presented to the Choir by Councillor Caroline Ball, Civic Head, at our rehearsal on Thursday, 8th August 2024.

The grant will support the Choir to carry out the following additional activities during the year:

1. To expand the programme of concerts and appearance with the town to improve community engagement. This will also help the Choir to raise its profile and hopefully attract new members.

2. To purchase new A5 promotional flyers, business cards and display banners.

3. To support member training to develop their musical skills.

4. To purchase additional music which will be introduced into the Choir repertoire during 2025.
